two and ten months

this post is soooo uber late. sorry, ngayon lang kasi ako ulit nakagamit ng internet dito sa bahay. im usually tired when i get home from work, that's why im just using my free time for sleeping. sleeping for about 10 hours. haha. im such a pig. i even missed episode 3 and 4 of gossip girl. that sucks! i can't find it here in the internet. the site where i usually watch gossip girl doesn't have the ep3&4. my boyfriend told me the other day the he watched it there, but now when i checked up on it the site said that the video has been removed. and that makes me sad. awww. i want to watch it, as in now na. haha. enweiz enough for that. it's already our two and ten months. two months to go before our 3rd year. im sooo uber excited and happy for that. hahaha.

two weeks notice

two weeks na ko nag start from work. and as of the moment sila ang mga taong nakakasama ko araw araw sa work. im enjoying their company. iba't ibang klase ng tao na dapat pakisamahan. halo halo ng topak at trip gawin sa buhay. im praying na maka survive kami sa training at magtagal kami sa work at makaresolve kami ng maraming maraming calls. lalo na yung mga irate customers.

okay, medyo di ko gets yun. LABO meyn!!! nararamdaman ko na ang peer pressure. haha. pero alam ko kaya ko labanan ang temptations. mabait ako e. hindi ko itataya ang buhay ko para sa isang bisyo. haha.

na meet ko na yung mga wavelengths(im not sure kung tama yung term) ko kanina. and alam ko narin kung saan account ako assigned. im going to handle calls under sprint/nextel. it's a telecommunication company, obviously it's US based. aun. medyo na-intimidate nga ako sa mga kasama ko kanina e. parang natanong ko lang bigla sa sarili ko kung kasama ba talaga ako sa kanila. hehe. natatakot lang ng konti. marami kasi sa kanila may experience na sa call center, so basically they already have an idea of the whole process. e ako, start from scratch pa lang. building of my foundation pa lang. hmm. pro i'll do my best for this, with God's Grace. pag pray nio ko ah. haha.

The Roles Assigned in Eden

So what does God say it means to be man or woman? The Christian's first stop for the answer is the Genesis account of when God created the first man and woman. That is act 1 of God's story.

Jesus showed us that the Genesis account should be the foundation of our perspective of true manhood and womanhood. When He was questioned about marriage, He pointed his questions back to god's design: "Haven't you read... that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female'?" (Matthew 19:4). Paul did the same. When he wrote to the Ephesian church about how husbands and wives were to relate to each other, he referred his readers to God's original intention, which He revealed before sin entered the world (Ephesians 5:31).

From the first two chapters of the Bible we learn that Adam and Eve were created equal in God's sight. In our chauvinistic culture, in which women are often belittled and abused, this fact needs to be clearly stated. God made women totally equal to men in personhood, dignity, and worth. They are no less important or valuable to God.

Within the context of their equality, God assigned men and women different roles. He made Adam first, signifying his unique role as leader and initiator. He created Eve from Adam and brought her to Adam to be his helper in the tasks God had assigned him. She was made to complemnent, nourish, and help her husband. God's greatest gift to man was "a helper suitable for him" (Genesis 2:18). This doesn't minimize a woman's role, but it does define it.

men and Women were created equal, yet different. And the fact that we're different is wonderful. What a boring world it would be if the opposite sex weren't so mysterious, so puzzling, and at times so infuriatingly unlike us!

God didn't make us to duplicate each other, but to complement each other. The point here is not that Adam was better than Eve, just as God the Father is not "better" than God the Son. Father and Son are equal in essence, power, glory, and worth, but they have different roles; and the Son joyfully submits to the Father's will (1 Corinthians 15:28). So in marriage a husband and wife are equal, even though Scripture tells the wife to joyfully submit to her husband's leadership. ~(Boy meets Girl by Joshua Harris, page 106)~
